Our Commitment to Sustainability: Partnering with Trees New York
At MAD Tours and Events, we believe that sustainability is not just a trend — it’s a responsibility. As part of our ongoing commitment to making a positive environmental impact, we are proud to partner with Trees New York, a nonprofit organization dedicated to planting, preserving, and protecting New York City’s urban forest through education and community participation.
Founded in 1976, Trees New York emerged as a grassroots response to severe cutbacks in the city’s forestry and community services. Over nearly five decades, the organization has become a cornerstone of environmental stewardship in New York City, combining hands-on action with education to foster lasting change. Their remarkable achievements include training more than 13,500 Citizen Pruners and 11,000 youth in tree care, as well as planting over 500 trees in underserved neighborhoods over the past two years alone.
Through this partnership, we are supporting Trees New York’s mission to improve the health and resilience of the city’s urban forest — an effort that not only beautifies our streets but also improves air quality, mitigates the urban heat island effect, and enhances the well-being of our communities. Importantly, by planting and caring for trees, we are also helping to offset carbon emissions, a critical step in addressing climate change and reducing our environmental footprint.
As part of our sustainability program, the carbon offset contribution we collect from our clients is fully donated to Trees New York. This means that every project we undertake is directly helping to fund the planting and stewardship of trees across New York City, ensuring that we collectively give back to the environment and support a greener, healthier future.
We invite you to join us in supporting this vital cause. You can contribute to our fundraising efforts by visiting our dedicated page here:
Every donation helps ensure that more trees are planted and cared for in communities that need them most — making a real difference in offsetting carbon emissions and creating a more sustainable, vibrant New York City. Thank you for helping us shape a greener future!

MAD Tours and Events is proud to announce our partnership with Hawaiʻi Wildlife Fund. As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism, we have pledged to donate monthly in support of HWF’s vital mission to protect Hawaiʻi’s native wildlife and preserve the fragile ecosystems that make these islands so unique. From sea turtles to monk seals, whales to coastal habitats, we believe in the importance of safeguarding the natural beauty and biodiversity of Hawaiʻi for future generations. Through this partnership, we hope to contribute meaningfully to conservation efforts and inspire others to kōkua (help) in keeping Hawaiʻi alive and wild.
Hawaiʻi Wildlife Fund (HWF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1996 with the mission to protect and preserve native wildlife and habitats across the Hawaiian Islands. HWF focuses on safeguarding coastal and marine species such as the Hawaiian green sea turtle (honu), hawksbill sea turtle (honuʻea/ʻea), dolphins (naia), whales (koholā), monk seals (nā mea hulu/ʻīlioholoikauaua), and many other native plants and animals that call Hawaiʻi home. Through education, outreach, marine debris removal, conservation, research, and advocacy, HWF actively engages communities, keiki (children), and volunteers to ensure Hawaiʻi’s natural heritage remains alive and wild. The organization also operates the Hawaiʻi Wildlife Discovery Center in Whalers Village, Maui, where visitors can learn about Hawaiian culture, native wildlife, and ongoing conservation efforts. Whether through volunteering, interning, donating, or adopting, there are many meaningful ways to kōkua (help) and support HWF’s mission to protect Hawaiʻi’s precious ecosystems. Mahalo for caring and joining us in this vital work.
