Washington Photo Adventure: Workshop and Walking Tour (Walking tours, 3h)
Here is a dream for any photography lover, new or experienced; What if you had a professional photographer available to help you take better vacation shots? Join a combined workshop and tour of Washington DC led by a professional photographer, who will help you achieve your “personal best” photos. Every workshop (whether the half-day or full-day option) starts with a 45-minute morning overview of camera basics. These include composition, lighting, shutter speed, and F-stop. The teacher moves onto architectural and travel photography, outdoor portraiture, and tips for indoor photography without a flash. Now for the best part— you can try these newly learned techniques while touring Washington D.C.’s esteemed monuments and landmarks (including the White House, Lincoln Memorial, and dozens more!)
Half-day option: Inspired by your new photography skills, set out to capture the legendary D.C. monuments and sights. See the White House and Lafayette Park in early morning light. Adjust your F-stop or size up the composition when you see the Albert Einstein Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. Try action shots on the city streets and at bustling Union Square. At the end of the tour, continue your own travels, taking winning photographs from now on with your enhanced skills.
Group tour: From 6 to 10 people.

For the 3h workshop, we offer it early morning and end of the day to get the best pictures.

Adults and children (ages 12 to 18): $120 per person.
Not recommended for children 11 years old and under
Private tour and workshop 3h:
2 to 5 people: $790 for the group
5 to 8 people: $990 for the group
8 to 10 people: $1099 for the group
Private tour and workshop 7h:
From 2 people to 5 people: $1290 for the group
5 to 8 people: $1490 for the group
From 8 to 10 people: $1690 for the group

Services included: 4h or 7h safari photo tour with a photographer tour guide.
Services not included: Tips for the tour guide photographer, personal expenses, transfer to the meeting location.
Accessibility: This tour is not available for people with disabilities in wheelchairs.
This tour is available for the hearing impaired. We can provide a translator for sign language. Please contact us for rates and availability.
Guide: Our licensed guides reserve the right to cancel the scheduled tour due to weather conditions (rain, storm, snow or other). In case of cancellation, we can offer you an alternative date or a total cancellation, in which case we will give you a full refund.
Cancellation Policy for the private tour: If you send us a cancellation request more than 15 days before the day of your tour, a 50% refund will be given. If you send us a cancellation request less than 15 days before the day of your tour, no refund will be given.

Pet: As much as we love them, they are not allowed.
Request to reschedule your tour: All requests to reschedule your tour must be made in writing and sent to us via email more than 15 days prior to your tour or activity. There are no exceptions. Without an email, we will not be able to reschedule your tour.
Videos and pictures: We reserve the right to record video footage and photographs in connection with future promotional and publicity for MAD Tours and Events on social media and website.
Belongings: Mad Tours and Events is not responsible for any personal items which are lost, stolen or left behind.
Passenger Voucher check-in Instructions: On the day of the tour or activity, please arrive 15 minutes early at the tour departure point at the indicated address sent with your confirmation.
Taxes & Booking fees: They are not included in the rate. Those fees will be indicated once you start the booking reservation process.
Health Protocols – Covid 19: Complies with local legislation and the latest health and safety recommendations to prevent the spread of disease.
No show: Please note that if you do not show up on the day of your tour or activity, your tour is forfeited.
