Midtown is home to some of the NYC’s most prominent buildings and jaw-dropping architecture! Our walk will start in the emblematic Flatiron Building by Daniel Burnham. We’ll then visit One Madison Park by CetraRuddy, see the Kiosk by SITE and continue down Fifth Avenue. We’ll check out the famous Empire State building by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, the famous 102-story Art Deco skyscraper that was built from 1930 to 1931 and one of NYC’s greatest tourist attractions for nearly a century. Its name comes from the official nickname of the state of New York, “the Empire State.” We’ll then stop by the renovation of the Morgan Library by Renzo Piano. Continuing to the east, we’ll marvel at the Chrysler Building by William Van Alen another Art Deco skyscraper in the Turtle Bay neighborhood at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington, the UN India Mission by Charles Correa Associates and the Ford Foundation and UN Plaza by Kevin Roche.
