Let Washington, D.C. enchant you at night! After dusk, it turns into a City of Light step aside, Paris right before your eyes. On this guided night-time tour, see more than 100 of D.C.’s illuminated monuments and landmarks. Impressive by day, these sights are almost magical at night, including: the world-recognized U.S. Capitol Building, the iconic White House, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Washington Monument, designed to commemorate the beloved “Father of our Nation” and first U.S. President. This towering obelisk, made of marble, granite, and bluestone, stands 555 feet tall! It is truly mesmerizing to see it lit up at night. Streetcar stops also include the FDR Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial. Here, the colossal statue of Lincoln, the 16th U.S. President, will captive you. Through the awe-inspiring statue, featured against a building inspired by the Greek Parthenon, Lincoln still commands respect! Throughout the tour, your guide will share facts about Washington DC’s leading role in history, behind-the-scenes stories of the city’s powerful residents, and, on a lighter note, will even let you in on the city’s alleged hauntings!

Guide: Our licensed guides reserve the right to cancel the scheduled tour due to weather conditions (rain, storm, snow or other). In case of cancellation, we can offer you an alternative date or a total cancellation, in which case we will give you a full refund.
Cancellation Policy for the private or public tour: If you send us a cancellation request more than 15 days before the day of your tour, a 50% refund will be given. If you send us a cancellation request less than 15 days before the day of your tour, no refund will be given.
Pet: As much as we love them, they are not allowed.
Request to reschedule your tour: All requests to reschedule your tour must be made in writing and sent to us via email more than 15 days prior to your tour or activity. There are no exceptions. Without an email, we will not be able to reschedule your tour.
Videos and pictures: We reserve the right to record video footage and photographs in connection with future promotional and publicity for MAD Tours and Events on social media and the website.
Belongings: Mad Tours and Events is not responsible for any personal items which are lost, stolen or left behind.
Passenger Voucher check-in Instructions: On the day of the tour or activity, please arrive 15 minutes early at the tour departure point at the indicated address sent with your confirmation.
Taxes & Booking fees: They are not included in the rate. Those fees will be indicated once you start the booking reservation process.
Health Protocols – Covid 19: Complies with local legislation and the latest health and safety recommendations to prevent the spread of disease.
No show: Please note that if you do not show up on the day of your tour or activity, your tour is forfeited.
Smoking: Mad Tours and Events does not permit smoking in any vehicle. The smoking fee is $250.00.
