Hallowed Ground: Arlington National Cemetery and Washington D.C Landmarks tour
Pay your respects to United States veterans buried in Arlington National Cemetery, from the Revolutionary War to present-day conflicts. This beautiful tree-lined burial ground includes military memorials and tombs of famous leaders, such as President John F. Kennedy. Explore the park, and you will be surprised by who you find! Witness the profoundly moving changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which holds the remains of unidentified U.S. soldiers. Learn the history of Arlington National Park and the inner workings of the United States’ enormous modern military. Next, we will embark on a tour of D.C.’s most storied monuments and landmarks. From your tour vehicle you will see the famous U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, the revered Jefferson Memorial, and the beloved Washington Monument. Night stops also include the FDR Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and Iwo Jima Memorial. During the tour, your guide will share Washington DC’s fascinating role in history, behind-the-scenes stories of the city’s powerful residents—and just to liven things up—we will let you in on the city’s haunted happenings.

Services included: 3h30-4h visit with a licensed tour guide including transportations for 4 hours, admission to Arlington Cemetery and tour by trolley at Arlington, visit of Washington DC and stops too many Memorials.

Guide: Our licensed guides reserve the right to cancel the scheduled tour due to weather conditions (rain, storm, snow or other). In case of cancellation, we can offer you an alternative date or a total cancellation, in which case we will give you a full refund.
Cancellation Policy for the private tour: If you send us a cancellation request more than 15 days before the day of your tour, a 50% refund will be given. If you send us a cancellation request less than 15 days before the day of your tour, no refund will be given.

Pet: As much as we love them, they are not allowed.
Request to reschedule your tour: All requests to reschedule your tour must be made in writing and sent to us via email more than 15 days prior to your tour or activity. There are no exceptions. Without an email, we will not be able to reschedule your tour.
Videos and pictures: We reserve the right to record video footage and photographs in connection with future promotional and publicity for MAD Tours and Events on social media and website.
Belongings: Mad Tours and Events is not responsible for any personal items which are lost, stolen, or left behind.
Passenger Voucher check-in Instructions: On the day of the tour or activity, please arrive 15 minutes early at the tour departure point at the indicated address sent with your confirmation.
Taxes & Booking fees: They are not included in the rate. Those fees will be indicated once you start the booking reservation process.
Health Protocols – Covid 19: Complies with local legislation and the latest health and safety recommendations to prevent the spread of disease.
No show: Please note that if you do not show up on the day of your tour or activity, your tour is forfeited.
Smoking: Mad Tours and Events does not permit smoking in any vehicle. The smoking fee is $250.00.
