La reputazione di Las Vegas \u00e8 ben consolidata: citt\u00e0 dell’eccesso, del lusso e degli eccessi di ogni genere, la capitale mondiale del gioco d’azzardo \u00e8 e rimarr\u00e0 inimitabile. Una cosa \u00e8 certa: non dimenticherete il vostro soggiorno a Las Vegas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Destinazione festosa per i giocatori d’azzardo, le famiglie, le coppie e gli amici, ma anche per gli amanti dello sport, del brivido e dell’avventura, Las Vegas ha molte sfaccettature, ognuna attraente quanto l’altra.<\/span><\/p>\n

Torniamo indietro nel tempo e riviviamo la gloriosa storia di Las Vegas. Da un semplice deserto \u00e8 stata costruita una fortezza. Situata nel deserto del Mojave, questa citt\u00e0 da non perdere \u00e8 stata costruita dal nulla.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • 1829:<\/strong> Antonio Armijo, un europeo, scopre una pianura desertica che chiama Las Vegas (le praterie, in spagnolo).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1855:<\/strong> i Mormoni si stabiliscono a Las Vegas.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1905:<\/strong> gli appezzamenti di terreno di Las Vegas vengono messi all’asta, permettendo alla citt\u00e0 di fiorire.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1906:<\/strong> apre il primo hotel: il Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, tuttora esistente.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1931:<\/strong> lo Stato del Nevada legalizza il gioco d’azzardo con la firma di un trattato.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1941:<\/strong> El Rancho, il primo resort sulla Strip, trasforma le piccole sale da gioco in hotel casin\u00f2 di lusso.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1946:<\/strong> il gangster Bugsy Spielgel crea il primo hotel a tema di Las Vegas: il Flamingo.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1966:<\/strong> Howard Hughes, aviatore miliardario, “ripulisce la citt\u00e0”. Oltre a conquistare la citt\u00e0, lott\u00f2 contro la criminalit\u00e0 che persisteva nelle strade.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Negli anni successivi furono costruiti molti degli odierni hotel di fama mondiale. Tra questi il Tropicana (1956), il Caesars Palace (1966), il Mirage (1989), l’Excalibur (1990), l’MGM Grand (1993) e il Bellagio (1998).<\/span><\/p>\n
